"Fantasyland: the happiest kingdom of them all"

:heart: now available as Prints and Iphone Cases through Society6. Yay!

I finished this one quite some time ago, but as I wanted to upload them in the park order, I was waiting until I finished Frotierland... well, Frontierland isn't really coming along, so this will just have to do.

I know Fantasyland is almost everyone's favorite land, so this one had to be special.
There were a lot of different visual themes for me to choose.. I thought about making a dumbo inspired poster, as the ride is such a landmark, but I didn't like the idea of focusing on just one character... then I thought about making it carousel-themed, but it felt a bit generic... the list goes, and eventually I decided to focus on "it's a small world". You can't go wrong with it... it's probably the most iconic ride of the land, it's one of the most beautifully designed of the park (duh, Mary Blair) and it's one of my personal favorites.

Really wish there was a Frontierland one. But I understand how sometimes creativity can bite you in the butt! Anyway, really really love this series, was wondering how you made them!

I made them in Ai. Just playing around with shapes and lines... trying to figure out what worked and looked interesting, and what didn't

Definitely captured the essence of Fantasyland--the whimsy and the fanciful design is definitely iconic Disneyland and Fantasyland.
