The Haunted Mansion is the only Disney attraction to be placed in a different land in each park around the world. New Orleans Square, Liberty Square, Fantasyland, Frontierland and Mystic Point in HK when their version of the mansion opens in 2013. And with the exception of the one in Tokyo, they each have their own architecture that blends with their sorroundings.

Here's Disneyland Paris' version of the Mansion, also known as Phantom Manor, home of the sweet Melanie Ravenswood.
This version of the Mansion is the most different of all, as it's story focus on Melanie, aka "the bride", still wearing her wedding dress waiting around for her groom.


Photoshop is getting on my nerve, I tell you.. I miss my dear, reliable Illustrator..

I've seen this before, but I've only just realised I hadn't declared my love for it through the medium of fav+ing. Sorry for this gross misconduct on my part. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

Totally my favourite of the Mansions. Both visually AND in real life. Phantom Manor was the first I visited and as such, made a lasting impression on me.

Loving the frame and colour choices. Brilliant.

I'm using this killer guy [link] as an inspiration for the frames. he did a lot of concept art for the haunted mansion in the 60s.. so it's great to hear you say that =)
